DISNEY'S BLIZZARD BEACH
Disney
legend has it that after a freak winter storm blanketed the area with
snow, Florida's first ski resort was born. When temperatures returned
to normal, the powdery snow turned to slippery slush. Slalom courses,
bobsled and toboggan runs became downhill waterslides. The chair lift
carried swimmers instead of skiers. The ski jump became the tallest, fastest
waterslide in the nation. You are invited to what has become Disney's
Blizzard Beach, the most slushy, slippery, exhilarating beach water park
anywhere!
before your eyes.

Teamboat
Springs
The
world's longest family white-water raft ride takes three- to five-passenger
rafts down a twisting, 366-metre (1,200-foot) series of rushing waterfalls.
Don't worry. You're all going down together
The
frosty theme is found throughout the park, with former ski slalom courses
and bobsled and sledding runs used as downhill water slides. Chair lifts
carry swimmers to the top of the courses, or you can opt to use the stairways
and do some "mountain climbing." Melting snow reveals sandy
beaches, a pre-teen section, a scaled down kiddie area, and a host of
other activities. While you're surrounded by "ice and snow",
the water stays a toasty and comfortable 80-82 degrees all year round.
